Innovation drives each of Faurecia's core businesses, supported by 5,500 engineers and technicians in 30 R&D centers across the world. Every year, Faurecia increases its footprint in Asia's markets in India, China and Korea. The Group invests around 5% of its revenues into R&D each year.

Every year, the group's R&D teams mastermind 200 innovation projects focusing on safety, comfort, interior space management, environmental performance, perceived quality and cost control. Faurecia registers 460 patents every year.
