Faurecia recently opened its third plant in South Korea dedicated to Emissions Control Technologies. The plant produces cold ends and hot ends for various Hyundai models, adding to the Group's existing facilities serving the Korean automaker in the region.
Based in Young-Cheon, this plant is ideally located to supply the different Hyundai plants in the area, particularly Ulsan, the biggest HKMC plant, which is only about hundred kilometer away.
Production at the new plant, which employs 140 people, started in August.
