At the 7th Renault Supplier Awards the automaker presented Faurecia with a Quality Award recognizing its outstanding performance in 2011.
During the event, Carlos Tavares, Renault Chief Operating Officer, emphasized that “Without quality a carmaker would have no future. Quality has become a Renault strength. It is vital that we maintain the highest quality standards in collaboration with our suppliers. These awards honor the ability of our suppliers to find solutions, to respect delivery times and to produce top-quality parts."
While presenting the award to Faurecia CEO Yann Delabrière, Senior Vice President Purchasing and Chairman of the Renault-Nissan Purchasing Organization Christian Vandenhende praised Faurecia for its long-term commitment to continuous improvement and for its consistent performance throughout the world. He also noted that this performance would not have been possible without diligent application of the Faurecia Excellence System.
