The acoustic expert To optimize a vehicle’s acoustics in terms of sound insulation and absorption, we designed the “acoustic synthesis method”. This system reproduces the sound of the inside of a vehicle down to the last detail.

Improving materials and functions Our innovation policy leads us to come up with new reduced-weight materials with optimized acoustic performance.

Insulating and absorbing solutions Our approach takes into account interior and exterior noise caused by components (indicating equipment, ventilation/AC system or window regulators). We analyze the noise transmission and frequency.

Optimization of materials and functions Because cost, weight and acoustic performance are a matter of finding the right balance, we developed the Faurecia Acoustic Triangle Concept.

Reduced sound emission in the passenger compartment Our efforts are aimed at minimizing noise in the passenger compartment through better insulation of acoustic migration from the trunk and absorption of noises from the engine compartment.

Reducing sound in the engine compartment We offer high-performance components to halt and absorb noise coming from the engine compartment: soundproofing under the hood, on and under the engine, and engine-side dash.

Because Faurecia’s strength is that it listens to consumer demands, we invest in research and development.
