The Group makes its seat module expertise available to its customers and offers the consumer a customized, comfortable and safe product.

We design and assemble seats, and we manufacture the main components: frames, adjustment mechanisms, foam and covers.

Backed by our experience, we invest in research in order to provide optimum solutions in terms of comfort, safety and reduced costs. Our latest innovations provide improved temperature control and better management of the passenger compartment: the ventilated seat, the high-performance foam.

We have developed a method for better meeting automakers' expectations: - Define the technical specifications with the initial data; - Simulate and study mechanical movement so as to obtain a predictive and objective assessment of the estimated level of postural comfort; - Conduct tests to quantify and analyze postural comfort through simulation at the various stages of development.

One of Faurecia’s latest innovations is the design of a seat equipped with a ventilation system. Electric fans blow air through a three-dimensional mesh covered with a porous layer facilitating the even distribution of air all over the seat surface.
