Faurecia: Europe’s Number 3 supplier of acoustic packages Acoustics contribute to vehicle comfort. It is part of overall concerns for interior system fittings and trim.

Improving materials and functions Our innovation policy leads us to come up with new reduced-weight materials with optimized acoustic performance.

Acoustic solutions made to order The group offers turnkey acoustic modules. These are mounted directly on the assembly line. A typical example is the package tray, which can include speakers, brake lights, a rear-seat locking system and seatbelt retractors.

Reduced sound emission in the passenger compartment Our efforts are aimed at minimizing noise in the passenger compartment through better insulation of acoustic migration from the trunk and absorption of noises from the engine compartment.

Insulating the trunk To insulate acoustic migration from the trunk, we work on the trunk trim and the parcel shelf. We offer a large number of different trim options that contribute to optimizing the appearance, comfort and functionality of the trunk.

And to benefit from the know-how of our research centers, we are studying, developing and testing new concepts for automotive manufacturers.
