Faurecia selected as strategic partner of Volkswagen Group
“It is a great honor for Faurecia to have been chosen by the Volkswagen Group as a strategic partner. This further development of our partnership with our leading customer will enable us to accelerate the deployment of our leading-edge technologies in the fields of sustainable mobility and enhanced life on-board” said Yann Delabrière, Chairman and CEO of Faurecia.
The Volkswagen Group had announced on July 31, 2015 the nomination of 44 suppliers who will be collaborating with the Group on a new common strategic level under the FAST initiative. With the FAST initiative, the Volkswagen Group is working together with its suppliers to respond to the challenges and accelerating technology changes taking place in the automotive industry. The aim of this initiative is to successfully implement joint technological innovations ever faster than in the past and to realize vehicle projects worldwide even more efficiently and effectively with the Volkswagen Group.
For many years, the Volkswagen Group has consistently been Faurecia’s first customer worldwide, with close to 25% of product sales generated with the Audi, Seat, Škoda and Volkswagen brands.

2016 Investor day - Faurecia to accelerate profitable growth and enhance technology offer to become leader in sustainable mobility and cockpit of the futureAt its Investor Day held today in Paris, Faurecia outlined its strategy for accelerating value creation. For the period 2016 – 2018 the Group will see total sales growth of 6% CAGR (400 basis points above automotive production). The operating margin in 2018 will reach 6% of total sales (7% of value added1 sales). Net Cash Flow will be above €500 million and earnings per share will reach €5.+
