Faurecia to root for the INSA Lyon team at the Shell Eco-marathon in London
Shell Eco-marathon is a unique competition that challenges students around the world to design, build and drive the most energy-efficient car possible. At the three annual events in Asia, the Americas and Europe, student teams take to the track to see who can go the furthest on the least amount of fuel.
Over the last few months, the engineering students from INSA Lyon have been working on a prototype vehicle focused on maximum energy efficiency. Designing the prototype involved research into lightweight solutions, new materials and energy recovery solutions to reduce fuel consumption.
Faurecia felt that it would be fitting to support the team in this competition as its purpose resonates with the Group’s efforts to provide sustainable mobility solutions that help meet the industry’s current and future challenges.
