Cockpit
The new version of the Chevrolet Malibu features an instrument panel by Faurecia with a level of refinement that is sure to set it apart from the competition. Designed for a luxurious appearance, the one-piece, two-tone instrument panel is achieved using Faurecia’s "In Mold Graining" technique with injected foam, making the instrument panel soft to the touch and pleasing to the eye.
Seven different trim combinations of the Malibu's instrument panel are possible with chrome or hydrographic wood accents. The rich colors and premium materials contribute to the ambiance of the interior and offer the consumer improved perceived quality. In addition to the glove box, the instrument panel features an upper storage bin for access to everyday necessities that are conveniently tucked away. A seamless passenger airbag contributes to the sleek appearance of the dual cockpit environment.
