Front end

The front end module is built around the Faurecia-designed structural front-end carrier, which acts as a supporting frame for the module. The module integrates several sub-assemblies including the engine cooling fan, shock absorption and lighting systems.

As the front end market leader in Europe, Faurecia has developed technical solutions tailored to Chrysler's requirements. In particular, the use of metal-plastic hybrid technology for the structural front-end carrier allows for extensive functional integration, a reduction in weight and optimum stiffness.
