Faurecia selected next-generation polyurethane foam padding for the Passat CC seats. The material’s special molecular structure makes it far more supportive and durable than standard cushioning systems.
The main advantage lies in increased weight-bearing capacity and improved elasticity, bringing the new Passat real benefits in terms of both durability and passenger support.
The padding can also be used in very fine layers to produce slimline seats that offer the same level of comfort as standard-thickness systems, creating a roomier interior—a clear advantage for passengers.
