Renault Kangoo instrument panel uses recycled materials

Recycled and natural materials have until recently been largely absent from vehicle interiors. Now, they are an integral part of new models and bring with them a need for careful consideration to ensure compliance with the relevant regulations.
Faurecia designed and manufactures the instrument panel for the new Renault Kangoo, both enhancing the driving experience for the vehicle’s occupants and promoting environmental protection through the use of Eco-Design technology. The new instrument panel contains almost nine pounds (4kg) of recycled materials used to manufacture unseen components such as the panel’s structure and ventilators.
