Visual comfort
The goal behind visual comfort is to create a feeling of well-being and relaxation inside the vehicle and improve the in-car experience, regardless of the time of day or night. As such, it is important for the main functions to quickly appear within the passengers' visual field.
Easy-to-reach features
Easily accessible buttons and main features are always on Faurecia's mind when designing door panels. For example, the doors on the Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon feature the electrical components of the different built-in functions, such as the mechanics of the retractable side mirror, the driver's seat memory and the central locking system.
The importance of lighting
The group also supplies the electrical components for front and rear door lights and the courtesy light for the door handle, glovebox and center console, which delivers ambient light throughout the interior.
A wide palette of colours
The Citroën DS3 takes the comfort typically associated with this type of vehicle into another dimension. Thanks to Faurecia's ingenuity, the strip on the instrument panel can be covered in a number of colors, fabrics or materials to upgrade it from the C3, with which the DS3 shares the same platform. The DS3 has the clear intention of being in a class of its own. To raise the bar higher still, seven innovative custom themes are available, reflecting various lifestyles and trends, such as “Pegasus yellow” or "grillon brilliant".
