Faurecia created Faurecia Japan K.K. in 1992. Faurecia’s Japan-based employees primarily handle responsibilities in engineering and customer relations, for clients such as Nissan, Honda, Suzuki and Mazda.
In 2001, the Group established two joint ventures in the automotive seating sector, FNK and FNQ, with the Japanese equipment supplier NHK Spring Co. Ltd.
The Interior Systems Business Group began collaborating with Howa Textile Industry Co. Ltd. in 2012.
For its part, Emissions Control Technology works in partnership with Sango Co. Ltd in the international market.
