A responsible global player
While skill development is one of the Group’s main priorities, a policy of
consultation and negotiation is being developed in all Faurecia subsidiaries. This
reflects the company’s willingness to give priority to economic and social dialog,
in particular through collective bargaining agreements negotiated and signed
with the trade unions and management.
Via the Group’s European Works Council Faurecia
has continually improved its operation since it was set up in 2003, through
regular meetings of its Supervisory Board.
On the subject of industrial restructuring,
the ongoing process of site modernization means the Group must constantly
improve its manufacturing footprint. All restructuring operations were
accompanied by a genuine dialog with the personnel and their representatives
to promote internal redeployment as a priority or to assist employees
with finding alternative employment.
Finally, Faurecia has signed the apprenticeship
charter of the French Ministry of Employment, Social Cohesion and Housing.
