2002 Third-quarter Sales The third quarter reflects
a strong sales level for the Faurecia Group, in particular for Automotive
seating. Sales for the period were €2,315.0 million, an increase of 6.3%
compared to 2001 including a negative exchange rate impact of 2.5%.

2002 First half-year
growth above market and net income at break-even
Consolidated sales for the first half 2002 were €4,958.0 million, a decrease
of 2.0% compared to the same period 2001. Excluding catalytic converters,
sales increased 3.5% to €4,526.8 million. Net income for the Group returned
to break-even, at €0.6 million compared with a pro forma net loss of €59.0
million in the second half of 2001.

2002 First Quarter consolidated sales were €2,391.2
million, an decline of 4.2% compared with Q1 2001. Excluding catalytic converters,
sales actually increased 0.8% compared with the previous year, while European
automotive production declined 6.5%.

[April 8, 2002] Faurecia enters the exhaust systems market in South Korea Faurecia signed an agreement, on March 29, 2002, with the South Korean company, Daeki Industrial, in order to establish an exhaust systems joint venture in South Korea.

Second Half and Year
2001 Results: Accelerating Restructuring Plans. Sales for 2001 were €9,610.7
million (an increase of 14.5% compared with 2000 pro forma). Operating income
for the year was €259.7 million (2.7% of sales). The net loss of €56.3 million
for 2001 included a non-recurring charge of €75.2 million before tax for
restructuring costs.
