This system, adapted to very cold climates,
provides a real improvement to comfort by reusing the thermal energy from
the exhaust system. By means of a water/gas heat exchanger, the system
is able to rapidly heat the vehicle interior via the cooling system. In
conditions of extreme cold (e.g. approximately -15°C), this system
will heat the vehicle interior to a comfortable temperature (approximately
20°C) five to ten minutes more quickly.
