Faurecia invites its suppliers -- and their suppliers -- to become members of the United Nations
Global Compact and to respect its principles.
Faurecia joined the United Nations' Global Compact in March 2004, demonstrating its ongoing
efforts worldwide with respect to human rights, employee policy and security and environmental
protection.
The Global Compact, an international initiative announced by United Nations' Secretary-General
Kofi Annan at the World Economic Forum in January 1999, unites enterprises with other U.N.
organizations, labor and civil society in their efforts to work toward a viable and accessible
global economy enabling all peoples to further their development. We undertake with this request
to apply the ten principles of the Global Compact and to advance those principles with all of our
partners worldwide.
We look forward to sharing the same commitment with our suppliers as we move forward.
