Our purchasing policy strives for the excellence that our automaker customers around the world expect.
In turn, Faurecia expects the highest levels of performance from its suppliers
with regard to quality, costs and delivery times. The Group measures this
performance and provides support to its partners to help optimize performance
at every stage of the supply chain: from contact with the buyers of the
centrally managed purchasing families, as part of the programs in development
and for the production of vehicle modules in series.

To achieve this, our purchasing policy is supported by:

An organization and resources in close relation with our suppliers.
- Purchasing teams in direct relation with our suppliers at the three operational levels that make up our purchasing policy: purchasing family buyers, program buyers and factory buyers.
- Quality experts involved at each operational level, from upstream of the process to our factories.
- Cross-fertilized support to share our top know-how with our suppliers (logistics for example) or to develop research and innovation programs with them.
- Clear and transparent procedures
Faurecia has defined worldwide purchasing processes (panel management,
the integration of suppliers in programs and series, stock supply and billing)
based on rigorous procedures,
ensuring transparency and durability in our partnerships with suppliers.
