A first Faculty Development Program was kicked off a couple of days ago. Chief guest for the event was Prof. Dr. Sayalee Gankar, Vice chancellor-DY Patil University, Pune, who motivated the teachers to learn new online teaching techniques due to change in education system. Training was based on the non-traditional ways of teaching, such as mind-mapping, understanding how the human brain works, stress relief techniques to improve the learning experience, and how story telling can make for a better learning experience for students.
Aiming at supporting teachers adapt their teaching techniques to meet the challenges of digitization, this online event was attended by 21 faculty members from MKSSS Kamshet and Sane Guruji Vidyalay along with Faurecians.
This highly appreciated event was a first milestone for this project and a concrete example of Faurecia India's commitment to improve the education system in India and provide better opportunities for girls to learn. With Faurecia Foundation, the local teams are building a better tomorrow.
We were honored to attend the first faculty Development session with the teachers and principals from the 2 schools benefiting from the support of the Faurecia Foundation. It is key to us to keep on interacting with them to nurture our partnership to ensure, equal and safe access to quality education for every child.
