Faurecia's Caligny site identified as industry of future showcase
The Caligny plant launched a three-part transformation initiative in 2016 including:
- Involving employees in the site's digital transformation, developing their skills through measures such as a training program on competencies, methods and management;
- Developing a strong regional ecosystem through partnerships with startups, schools and local mid-sized companies;
- Stepping up the digital transformation at the site through the use of predictive maintenance solutions and collaborative robots.
The transformation project is key to enhancing operational excellence and developing innovation in the region. It will help to secure the long-term future of the Caligny site.
