It's all happening in Paris from October 4-19 at the Parc des Expositions, Porte de Versailles.

10/09/2014 - Young women invited by the association “Elles bougent” visit the Faurecia booth
Faurecia welcomed 60 female students invited by the association “Elles bougent,” which campaigns to attract young women in high school and college to careers in engineering.
Nine women mentors from Faurecia, mainly engineers and technicians, presented the automotive sector and their own jobs, career paths and career goals to the young women.

10/03/2014 - French president visits Faurecia booth
The French president, François Hollande, visited the Faurecia booth on his visit to the show, based on the theme of sustainability mobility.
This morning, CEO of Faurecia Yann Delabrière welcomed French president François Hollande, accompanied by Emmanuel Macron, Minister of the Economy, Industry and Digital Sector to the Faurecia booth. It was the perfect opportunity to present the Group's latest innovations in terms of weight reduction and energy saving.
10/03/2014 - Cutting CO2 emissions by as much as 20g/km!
Faurecia's press conference at the Paris Motor Show took place this morning at 9 am. Yann Delabrière, Chairman & CEO of Faurecia, and Christophe Aufrère, Technology Strategy VP, clearly highlighted the importance of Faurecia's contribution to fuel economy. Our technological innovations are able to offer in fuel consumption of nearly one liter per 100 km by 2020 (curbing CO2 emissions by 20g/km) through weight savings (of up to 100kg) and energy-recovery solutions.

Faurecia and Interval—a major French agricultural cooperative—today announced the creation of a joint venture to develop the use of natural fibers such as hemp for the automotive industry. By designing and manufacturing innovative, performance products, Automotive Performance Materials aims to help automakers and equipment suppliers rise to the demand for weight savings and sustainability.
10/02/2014 - Faurecia unveils its innovative seat-folding technology for the new Renault Espace
The Renault booth has just unveiled the next generation of its emblematic Espace. The crossover is the first production-spec model to feature Faurecia's new seat-folding technology: an innovative, "one-click" solution that can automatically fold down any seat in the second and third rows of the vehicle into the floor pan provide optmial loading room.
10/02/2014 - The Paris Motor Show is now underway!
The annual event began its press days for journalists from around the world this morning before opening its doors to the public this weekend. Faurecia is back at the Motor Show this year after a 12-year hiatus with a booth dedicated to technological innovations focusing on weight savings and energy efficiency.
10/02/2014 - "Less is More"
"Less is More" is the watchword for the Faurecia booth at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Less weight and lower fuel consumption mean cleaner, more efficient cars. "Less is More" is also the name of the concept unveiled by Faurecia this morning, showcasing our most innovative technologies.

Faurecia can supply up to 300 kg of equipment for mid-size vehicles. Through innovation, we are in a position to offer automakers weight savings of nearly 100 kg by 2020, which is enough to cut CO2 emissions by 10 g per kilometer. Take the animated tour to find out more!

10/02/2014 - Faurecia-Auto Moto « Talk » sessions
Faurecia will be hosting a range of interesting talks on the automotive industry at its booth every day from Monday to Friday, at 12.30pm. The program includes creative workshops on "life aboard the automated car of the future" and discussions on "women and cars: a powerful combination", along with the chance to meet a number of experts in innovation.
