Faurecia nominated again as strategic partner of the Volkswagen Group
Faurecia has been nominated again as strategic partner within the "Future Automotive Supply Tracks" initiative (FAST) of the Volkswagen Group. After the nomination of the business groups Automotive Seating and Interior Systems in 2015, the business group Emissions Control Technologies now has been awarded as FAST Partner too. Only suppliers and distributers showing significant performances for the Volkswagen Group are considered for the nomination.

Through the Volkswagen FAST initiative, the Volkswagen Group is creating a network of strategic suppliers that work together to optimize the value stream. As a FAST strategic supplier, Faurecia will be involved in joint value creation initiatives within the Group at an earlier stage, providing new opportunities for future growth.
With a sales share of around 23 percent with Audi, Seat, Škoda and other brands, the Volkswagen Group is the most important global customer of Faurecia.

Corporate / 25/08/2016For the first time ever, Faurecia partnered the 2016 Formula Student Germany competition, which took place from August 9th to 14th in Hockenheim. To take part in the international competition, teams of engineering students from all around the world had to design a single-seater car, then manufacture and race a ready-to-drive prototype.+
