A key commitment : respect for the environment
The Faurecia Group’s sustainable development policy can be seen in a number of different ways. It covers, for instance, the design and production of environmentally-friendly products. Similarly, the Group is committed to a determined improvement scheme for safety at work. More broadly, a Code of Ethics has been established within the company, which defines the principles of conduct for everyday relations, both internal and external.
The purchasing policy requests from suppliers the compliance with legislation as for instance dangerous substances, and ISO 14001 environnemental certification.
Finally, Faurecia has signed the United Nations Global Compact. This initiative brings together private companies, UN bodies and associations and trade unions around ten universal principles of human rights, labor law and the environment.
