Faurecia Korea wins Hyundai Quality 5 STAR certification & Best Supplier 2017 Award
This January, the Hyundai-Kia Motor Company (HKMC) awarded Faurecia Korea with the “Best Supplier 2017” award and the Quality 5 STAR certification.
HKMC's Best Supplier award is meant to recognize the excellence of quality, R&D and logistics of its best supplier. This year, Faurecia Korea was chosen among 330 suppliers for the 'Grand prix' prize. It is extremely rare for a global company to receive this prize among local suppliers, and it is the first time that Faurecia Korea receives this award.
The “5 STAR” certification is the highest honor in the manufacturer’s quality system. The Group joins the ranks of only 40 suppliers who qualified for the 5 STAR rating out of a total of 336 HKMC suppliers.
After evaluating its suppliers, Hyundai-Kia selected Faurecia for its outstanding performance and high-quality management system. Following upon its 4+ STAR certification in 2017, Faurecia Korea has shown a marked progression in just one year.
Thanks for every efforts to acquire quality 5 STAR award. This is a valuable return for the past five year effort. It is important to not only sustain but also enhance customer scores to show continuous improvement.
The Quality 5 STAR rating system has been in use since 2001 to assess the competence and quality of HKMC suppliers worldwide.
